Fourteenth Data Download

On September 22nd, FWRI staff recovered data from 6 out of the 7 acoustic receivers deployed in and around Robinson Preserve. Our acoustic receivers revealed an additional 350 detections, including detections from 1 of the 80 fish that have been tagged since April 2022. Specifically, detections from the one known tag were from a fish tagged in Februrary, 2024. We believe many of these fish have since migrated away from the preserve or their acoustic tags are no longer active (1.5 year battery life). Given this, it was not surprising that only a few tagged fish were detected during this period.

One receiver experienced hardware issues and will need to be sent to the manufacturer for and data recovery.
